This website is a product of the Memorandum of Agreement between the Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) and the Tribal Historical Preservation Office (THPO) for implementing the WisDOT Tribal Historic Preservation Project that facilitates the partnership among THPOs and WisDOT. This website displays the history of an ongoing collaborative WisDOT-Tribal partnership with a strong historic preservation focus. A model for Tribal-state agency collaborative partnerships throughout other agencies of Wisconsin State Government, other Tribal departments, and other state and federal government agencies.
